Welcome to Azalea! I’m Diana, the oldest of six children, and from a young age, I’ve always been captivated by crafts, creative expression, and gifting. I vividly remember my 3rd-grade days, diving into scrapbooking, collecting random little trinkets to bling or paint, and cutting out magazine clippings to make collages and post cards, gifting each to family or friends. Even as a little girl, around 5 or 6, I felt destined to be a creative entrepreneur. My cousin and I would set up a “tattoo station” at my grandparents’ door, offering washable marker tattoos for $0.25 to anyone interested.

Creating art and decorating have always been my sanctuary, significantly boosting my mental health and providing a rewarding sense of accomplishment. During the pandemic in 2020, I discovered a new passion for painting with acrylics. By 2021, I decided to pursue my dream of starting Azalea, beginning with handmade soy wax candles. These early experiences ignited a lifelong passion for creativity that I now bring to my business. Over the years, I explored various ways to enhance and expand my offerings.

I believe it’s crucial for everyone to pursue a creative outlet and always chase their dreams. This journey has taught me the importance of following your passions and the joy that comes from creating something beautiful.
